Takeaway websites with online ordering and no commission

Your own ordering website, so your regulars order from you instead of through Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats. Customers pay you directly, you keep every penny of the order, and new orders alarm on a counter tablet and print in the kitchen.

Stop paying 14% on customers who already know you

Delivery apps are good at finding you new customers. The problem is what happens after that. Your regulars, the people who order every Friday, keep going back through the app, and you keep paying commission on every order. Just Eat typically takes around 14% when you deliver yourself, and much more when they deliver for you.

A takeaway website of your own fixes that. You keep listing on the apps for new customers, and you move your regulars onto your own site with a flyer in the bag, a sticker on the box or a first-order discount. Orders come straight to you, the money goes into your account, and there's no platform taking a cut.

I build every site myself, working remotely with takeaways across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the rest of the UK. The price is fixed and agreed before I start, and you own the website outright.

What your customers get

  • Your full menu with sizes, extras, sauces and toppings, priced correctly
  • Meal deals that let customers build their own combo
  • Delivery or collection, with a postcode checker for your delivery area
  • Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout
  • Order updates by email, from "accepted" to "out for delivery"
  • One-tap reorder and loyalty points, so they come back to you

What you get in the shop

An order tablet that won't let you miss one
New orders alarm on a counter tablet. Staff tap Accept and pick a ready time, or Reject with a reason. The customer is told straight away.
Tickets that print themselves
Accepted orders print in the kitchen with every option on the ticket. The printer plugs into your router, so no computer is needed.
Payment taken only when you accept
If you reject an order, the customer's payment is released automatically. No refunds to chase and no fees on orders you didn't make.
Your hours, your rules
Opening times, last-order cut-offs, delivery fees, minimum orders and collection-only items, all set up around how you work.

Packages

Fixed prices, no commission on any order. You only pay the normal card fee to your payment provider, usually around 1.5% + 20p.

How it works

Most takeaway sites are taking orders within three to four weeks.

STEP 1
Menu and setup
You send your menu, prices, delivery area and opening hours. I agree a fixed price and plan how your options and deals should work.
STEP 2
Build
I build your site and menu on a private copy, with payments, delivery rules and order emails all set up.
STEP 3
Test orders
We run test orders together until the tablet, printer and emails work exactly how you want. Everything's done remotely.
STEP 4
Go live
Your site goes live and you start moving regulars over, with flyers, QR codes and a first-order discount to help.

Common questions

Do I have to come off Just Eat?
No. Most takeaways stay on the apps to find new customers and use their own site for regulars. Every order that moves across is one you're not paying commission on.
Is there really no commission?
None from me. You pay your payment provider's normal card fee, typically around 1.5% + 20p per order with Stripe, and the money goes straight into your bank account.
Do I need a computer in the shop?
No. Orders appear on a cheap tablet by the counter, and the receipt printer connects straight to your internet router. I set both up with you remotely.
Who delivers the orders?
You do, with your own drivers, or customers collect. You set your delivery area, delivery fee and minimum order, and the site only offers delivery to postcodes you cover.
Can I change my menu and prices?
Yes. I'll show you how to change prices, mark items as sold out and add specials. On Pay Monthly Pro I make the changes for you.
How do I get customers to order from my site?
Put a flyer or sticker with a QR code in every app order, add your web address to your Google Business Profile, and offer a first-order discount. Regulars switch quickly when they know it's the same food, often cheaper.

Simon was fantastic when sorting out my website, locating the issue quickly and offering a solution. In this case, he transferred my site to a new theme with some slight amendments that was compatible with the latest wordpress and elementor updates. He was very quick, efficient and professional, and had no problem explaining what he needed to do in plain language to this novice website owner! I would not hesitate to use Simon's services again as his wealth of knowledge and experience clearly showed in our interaction. Highly recommended.

Contacted Simon after reading reviews of his work to resolve a few issues I had with an existing site which I couldn't solve. I found Simon to be professional, very knowledgeable and honest. He doesn't charge the earth and is always available if you have a problem. It makes a refreshing change to have a 1 to 1 service instead of repeating the issues to a different person every time. So impressed with his work ethic and stylish designs that I've commissioned a brand new site from him.

Simon migrated my site from Squarespace to Wordpress. From the get-go he was very friendly and eager. Throughout the process he was patient with me (I had a lot of edits) and even though the site build was very complex he was happy to do it. I'm extremely happy with the end result—my website has never looked so good! 🤩 I'm looking forward to working with Simon as my website host, as I know if I have any issues he will be able to sort it for me. Thank you Simon! 🌟 If you want to see another example of what Simon can do, check out www.cherrychumagazine.com 💜
